Excellent food and great service on a heatwave day. Merci
This modern bistro is well-located in the Jardin des Plantes and offers high-quality dishes with good presentation. The restaurant has a spacious interior and several outdoor terraces, creating a chill and relaxed atmosphere. It's also a great spot for families, as they provide plenty of high chairs, a kids' menu, and drawings to keep children entertained. We arrived right at noon when the kitchen opened, and the service was exceptionally fast—a huge plus when dining with kids. The staff was also accommodating and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the tasty Italian burger.
Found this place by accident and thought I'd see if I could get a spot for 1. Sadly, all of outside was reserved, but I wasn't disappointed being inside. The staff are attentive, the food is delicious and the basil smash cocktail just the thing on a lovely warm day. All the staff speak English, which is very kind as my French is very rusty. I look forward to visiting again, when back in Paris
We stopped there after the Jussieu market on Sunday. It's 5 minutes from there. It was windy so we ate inside. The food was ok. The steak tartare was ok enough. No egg yolk on it. Served with ketchup & mayonnaise... The fish was good. The burger ok. And the salmon tartare tasty. But the very good point was the dessert!!! Tiramisu great, the creme brûlée with vanilla a banger , the mousse au chocolat was good! English-speaking is welcome.
Lovely steak Tartare today with a few glasses of vino, nice n breezy too on this hot day of 35c
Friendly staff. Nice and warm place. Above average food. Nice wine. Great to be after a tiring museum visit.
Second time: I came back, this time the staff manage waiting customers much better. First time: Les Belles Plantes is a charming restaurant with a lovely terrace and cozy indoor seating. The food is reportedly good, but the service speed is a major downside. Unfortunately, we waited 30 minutes without even receiving the menu and had to leave. A nice spot if you’re patient, but not ideal for a quick meal.
This is a very good restaurant with great atmosphere. I really like the outdoor settings because you are surrounded by plants and trees. When I went, it was raining and the sound of the rain made the experience more pleasant and enjoyable
